Warehousing / Distribution

Overview

Warehousing/Distribution includes all the services which Global-Logistics GmbH offers. It is divided into various products suitable for domestic and foreign clients who wish to separate their warehouse and distribution logistics from other aspects of their sales organizations.

Swiss Distribution
Swiss Distribution is a product which is directed primarily at foreign clients who would like to serve the Swiss market and its consumers in a manner equivalent to Swiss firms.
With your delivery warehouse in Switzerland, registration with the financial authorities, and arrangement for financial agency, your customers will receive their deliveries the way they usually do from domestic firms.
Customized to the requests of clients, our warehouses are set up and administered with the most modern techniques. Our services are directed completely to the needs of our clients, and cover all eventualities. In addition to the usual logistical warehouse services, we offer a series of further valuable benefits in the area of Business to Consumer.

EC-Distribution
EC-Distribution is a product which is directed at Swiss exporters as well as other non-EC companies who would like to serve the EC market and its consumers in a manner equivalent to EC firms.
Via a gateway within the EC, or via an open Customs warehouse in Switzerland, with your registration with the financial authorities in the EC and the arrangement for a financial agent, your customers will receive deliveries the same way they do from EC firms.
Customized to the requirements of clients, the warehouse is set up and administered with the most modern techniques. Our services are directed completely to the needs of our clients, and cover all eventualities. Besides the usual logistical warehouse services, we offer a series of further valuable benefits in the area of Business to Consumer.

Business to consumer
Business to consumer is a full expansion of our Swiss Distribution and EC-Distribution products. Services based on client needs, e.g. management of warehouses/distribution sites, ordering of goods based on minimum required stock quantities, customer billing, collection and processing of returns, are just a few of the benefits which b2c includes.

To summarize, b2c fulfils the requirements of a firm’s total sales organization. With the separation of warehousing and distribution from other aspects of sales, resources are freed up to be used elsewhere.
